A development is proposed for demolition of the existing buildings and construction of a new build residential project consisting of eight flats (6×2 bedroom units and 2×1 bedroom units).
Our work included preparing designs for a new planning application incorporates two additional flats on basement level, with additional parking and amenity space.
The layouts of the flats are open plan, with minimal corridors and dark spaces, enhancing light and ventilation with the use of dual aspect for each flat.
The proposal is a stand alone design, with reference to the existing industrial/ office building, in terms of building scale and materials. The success of the development will contribute towards the Local Authority’s vision for optimising new residential development, and will contribute towards the Mayor’s London Plan target for new build residential development within the borough.
